Finally the band camps are over. No more shouting for me. The performace took place in the school canteen. The seniors and juniors played for the recruits, while the recruits performed for the Main band people. I am quite surprise to find that this band sounds alot better and neater than the other band that I was teaching from Monday to Wednesday. Why am I surprise? Because the Band (monday to wednesday) is a silver band while the other band (Thursday to Saturday) is a bronze band. They play the same songs for the performance, so I did a fair comparison.

The camp ended with lots of titbits and chocolates. Those were the prizes for the winning teams, best skit, best member, and best section. Did I say before I like chocolates? hahaa, I can afford to stuff myself with all the chocolates I want.

Today I feel that I have spent two days in one day today (confused?). I took a long nap this afternoon because I was damn tired. I can't go for band in sleepy eyes.

Played Sorcerer's Apprentice today. I still can't figure out all those amazing running notes. Its not running in straight scales. Its like one octave in one funny scale, and then another octave in another funny scale. And the worst is that theres this soaring bar after running 12 notes in 2 counts of waltz beats. So my Section leader was like telling me to skip all the 12 notes and just wait for the next bar to soar the important notes. Playing cheat haha, but I think no choice. I hope our concert won't be a noisy one this time.

Hmm there is this person who have agreed to lend me Summer scent, but we are so busy that we lack time to meet each other. Msged her on msn just now but no reply, then went offline. Hmm Maybe I should start on the "Stairway to Heaven".
